Morning Walk

After several months of living in Thailand and traveling a little bit in Malaysia and Singapore, I am back in the Philippines to travel around my own country and to spend time with my family and friends who I have missed.

I am currently spending several weeks in my mother’s hometown in Surigao del Norte, one of the provinces in the southern most island of the Philippines, Mindanao. It has been several years since I have been here and the province did not change much, it’s still as quiet and as peaceful as I remembered. The relaxing environment is a welcome change from months of traveling around, meeting new people and socializing, sightseeing, partying, and just being busy.

My grandparents’ home is just a minute walk to the sea. Every morning I go outside to walk around, stare at the ocean and listen to the soothing sound of the waves. Here are some colorful photos I took while taking a short walk this morning.
